Customized Workshops

Delta AETC can provide a training that is customized to meet the specific needs of your agency, clinic, or other group of health care providers. You choose the format that will work best for you or your agency and let us know. Training can occur either at our central site or at your clinical setting. Possible formats can include:
• 1-2 hours
• Half day
• Full day
• Dinner meeting

A needs assessment will be conducted to determine the topics preferred by the group. Continuing education credits may be available if programs are planned in time for application to be made and accreditation received.

Case Conferences

Individualized case conferences can be scheduled at your agency. Participants present cases for discussion by our HIV specialists. Expert consultation is provided with the additional goal of educating the audience about important HIV issues.

Chart Reviews

This format is a tool to help medical providers evaluate the use of standards of care in their practices. Our HIV specialists will review randomly selected patient charts to identify clinician strengths and also to pinpoint areas where quality improvement is needed.

Preceptorships

Clinical courses that include lectures, case discussions, and clinical sessions. Preceptorships are available for prescribers (physicians and nurse practitioners), dentists and dental professionals, and nurses and clinical service providers.

Mini-Residencies

Each mini-residency is tailored specifically to an individual clinician's needs and interests. Open to physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and other clinical service providers, this option is formatted so the clinician learns about the diagnosis, early management and ongoing treatment of HIV disease. This opportunity is also available to clinicians in the form of preceptorships.
